The Custom Air Cruiser Titanium is probably the finest paramotor in the world,
made in the UK using only the highest quality componants available. We
source and test various part from all around the world, and only the
best make it onto our paramotor.
We aim to produce the best possible paramotor no matter the costs.
The Aerospace designed 3 part titanium frame is produced to very high
standards and attention to detail, with precision welding and
hydroformed aerofoil section, we are able to build in a measured amount
of pre-tension enabling our frame to easily click together in seconds.
A truly usable 3 part cage.
By using stronger superior titanium aerofoil section and expert advice
from UK Aerospace engineers we were able to further reduce the weight
of our frame while retaining far superior strenght and antivibration.
For launching and ground handling we have engineered the Cruiser to
keep the main engine weight as close to your back and as high up as
possible. This makes our motor feel lighter than many of our
competition, also giving good lower leg clearence for an easy takeoff
run. Our compact unit makes raising the wing in forward launch a breeze
and with the stiff aero section enclosing the prop, power launches can
be made with confidence, with the use of the quality SupAir harness
with large shoulder pads the unit is easy to slip on and feels secure.
A great deal of research went into the inflight balance and
characteristics to produce a paramotor that has great weight shift but
also allows use of full power without the risk of riser twist or
noticable torque steer. The full 65kg of thrust can be used with no
brake input required for a strait full power climbout. Inflight weight
shift is excellent, the SupAir harness is comfortable and with the
antivibration designed into the frame the whole unit feels balanced and
in harmony, a joy to fly.
Engine research lead us to using the corsair M25Y & M19Y, these
units have quality engineering, good power to weight, good economy, low
noise and most of all been proven reliable. Many of the other engines
we researched had faults with bearings, starting issues, oil seal
problems and some smaller hightly over tuned powerfull engines have been
known to seize. We will in future entertain these other engines when
their faults have been addressed and if they are proven to be as
reliable as the Corsair JPX Italia units. With the Black Devil
172cc (M25Y) we generally get 3 to 4 litres per hour, with the lighter
pullstart Black Magic 119cc (M19Y) we typically get better consumption
at a cost of max thrust.
